2021 Winner

When developing the first brand campaign for Seoul-based prototyping software ProtoPie, Zerotrillion set out to create something that felt more like high-design than advertising. The execution would be critical to show designers that ProtoPie could speak their language.

So the agency turned to animation, creating a spot in which every character design took cues from real personalities in the San Francisco Bay Area. It researched local public transportation, fora, and clothing and accessory trends, incorporating all these details into the creative to create familiarity with its core audience. The elevated story and design led many viewers to confuse it for an animated short, and “Free Your Ideas” was even included on a top-ten list of the best animated shorts of the month.
