Canada Life
"Differences"
TAXI / The Vanity
The “Differences” campaign by Taxi for Canada Life used a stylized, slo-mo approach to highlight the numerous life milestones – from weddings and graduation to fishing trips and new jobs – that make every individual’s financial life (and goals) different.

To produce the ad, visual effects house The Vanity captured actors performing those life events using 3D camera tracking. More than 20,000 frames were meticulously rotoscoped and keyed. And a fully computer-generated environment was created that required multiple layers of texture and detail, including several species of plants and moss. Fluid simulations helped bring a background lake and puddle to life.
