In the face of escalating wildfires, Fire Bloom Honey Lager turned devastation into a regenerative idea. Best of Kin brewed a beer using fireweed honey – produced from the first flower to grow after fires – linking every element of the product to renewal. From flame-painted labels to smoky OOH and a launch event featuring displaced musicians, the campaign embedded the story into every touchpoint. More than symbolic, it delivered measurable impact, with proceeds funding reforestation and community rebuilding across Alberta. The results were both environmental and cultural: more than 200,000 trees planted, strong sell-through across batches and more than $3.5 million in earned media, proving that, with the right idea, brands can turn crisis into meaningful action.
