"Writer's Room"
Courage
In food delivery advertising, where celebrity-led campaigns dominate, Skip needed to stand out without repeating the formula. With “Skip to the Good Part” already established, the challenge was to make its core idea – convenience – do more of the work. “Writer’s Room” inverted the role of the celebrity. Rather than using Seth Rogen to promote the product, it returned him to a writers’ room with Evan Goldberg, where every idea collapses the moment Skip enters the story. A boxing film loses its arc. A mafia plot loses its stakes. Each scenario is written and constructed to fully inhabit its genre, with dialogue, pacing, production design and original music working together to build tension before abruptly removing it. The humour comes from that precision: not just the premise, but how convincingly each world is set up before being undone. The campaign ran across TV, online video, social and OOH. Within a week, it generated 3.2M organic views, driving a 9% increase in new users and a 6% lift in app downloads.
