"Slope"

The Régie du bâtiment du Québec needed to show the consequences of poorly executed renovations in a way that didn’t rely on explanation. Rather than outlining regulations, “Slope” made the issue immediately clear. The idea was built directly into the set: a home where something feels off. A floor tilted at roughly ten degrees became the foundation of every scene, creating a subtle but constant imbalance that made the impact of careless work physically felt. That constraint shaped the entire production. A single tilted floor was used to create four distinct spaces, with walls on wheels reconfigured between takes and designed to function on both sides. Camera orientation shifted to generate new environments without rebuilding, allowing the same structure to carry multiple scenes. Every movement was pre-planned, turning the set into a coordinated system where design, timing and execution had to stay in sync. By building the problem into the environment itself, the campaign made the consequences of poor renovations immediate and impossible to ignore.
