2026 Winner

The Toronto International Film Festival expanded its role beyond exhibition with TIFF: The Market, a new industry platform designed to run alongside the festival as a dedicated space for deal-making, networking and knowledge exchange. The identity centres on a stripped-back cinematic idea: the film projector. A simple line and dot, referencing TIFF’s existing logo, form a modular system that visually expresses connection and exchange. Rotational compositions echo projector movement, while typography and imagery reinforce momentum and flow. The system scales across signage, environments and communications. Introduced as a pop-up, the brand generated strong early engagement and industry buy-in, leading to its official launch as a week-long event beginning in fall 2026.
