Olymel, a leading producer of pork and poultry, had an identity that no longer reflected the quality of its products or the expectations of modern consumers. The redesign reframed the brand around clarity and excellence, building the system on the visual language of a winning blue ribbon, expressed through a bold deep-blue block for strong shelf presence and gold typography to signal premium quality. In a deliberate departure from category norms, all photography and illustration were removed, creating a minimalist, high-contrast layout that prioritizes legibility and product transparency. This more confident, modern packaging system reinforced quality at a glance and helped drive a 74% increase in the fresh pork category.
