“A Very Intersectional Xmas 2024” was a social media holiday campaign designed to celebrate diverse traditions with an emphasis on humour and inclusivity. Barrett and Welsh aimed to engage multicultural marketers, vendors and potential employees by acknowledging various cultural celebrations through a creative, tongue-in-cheek approach. The campaign leveraged LinkedIn and email marketing to share a unique holiday greeting inspired by a Venn diagram, symbolizing the common ground found between traditions such as Diwali, Hanukkah, Bethlehem, Bollywood and family customs. Despite the zero-dollar budget, the campaign achieved more than 1,650 high value B2B impressions on LinkedIn.
