"The Last Timbit: A 60th Anniversary Musical"

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Tim Hortons wanted to uphold its tradition of highlighting Canadian stories. “The Last Timbit: A Sixtieth Anniversary Musical” campaign was a theatrical show based on the real story of a group of strangers
who found refuge in a Tim’s during a snowstorm.

The show was led by the originating producer of the hit musical Come From Away and featured an award-winning writing team and several Broadway stars. From the plot to the songs, the brand permeated every aspect of the show, resulting in a 75-minute ad that didn’t feel like an ad. Thousands of people paid more than
$343,000 to watch the show.

The musical ran for a week at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre, premiering to sold-out performances. Tim Hortons also partnered with Bell to create a film version that streamed on Crave, which was viewed in every province.
