Nescafé calculated that, every second, 5,700 cups of its coffee are consumed globally – and the energy needed to boil water for each cup adds up fast. “80 Degrees” is a film that encourages Canadians to brew their coffee with water heated to just 80 degrees Celsius instead of the typical 100, leading to significant energy savings. The film follows coffee lovers in different countries and contexts as they prepare their perfect cup – in a kitchen with family or alone after a cold plunge. The campaign included OOH, social media, digital touchpoints and a landing page with educational resources.
