2025 Winner

Brar’s is a 30-year-old food brand that can be found in many South Asian households and stores. But with little media visibility, Brar’s wanted to reinforce its presence and make its name and values known. Rather than focusing on packaging or its success, Brar’s “Growing with You” campaign highlighted family values and the deep connection the reliable, evergreen brand has with consumers. The video followed a father and daughter’s journey of highs and lows as they build a new life in Canada, celebrating milestones such as birthdays, new partners, new jobs, Diwali and loss – mirroring Brar’s own growth from a small dessert brand to a household name that offers a range of Indian sweets and snacks. The ad ran in Cineplex GTA during the holidays, reaching 648,000 viewers, as well as on CP24 for four weeks, engaging one million viewers weekly and driving a 36% increase in sales.
