The French Fries found that creative agencies tend to stick with the same audio houses, making it hard for them to break through. Knowing that creatives head to YouTube when searching for references and inspiration, The French Fries created “The Cold Plunge” as a pre-roll ad. The audio house showcased its music, sound design and storytelling talent by taking listeners through the sounds of a man attempting his first indoor cold plunge. In two weeks, the spot resulted in a 700% increase in phone inquiries over the previous month, as well as four new agencies asking for bids on seven different projects, leading to five jobs awarded.
