Canadian Space Agency
"Canadian Space Agency"
LG2
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) recognized the need to transform its visual identity to better align with its ambitious vision and assert its place in the global space industry. So, with a goal to enhance recognition and communicate Canadian pride more effectively, the CSA and LG2 embarked on a comprehensive rebranding effort in 2023. The new logo design integrates iconic Canadian symbols, such as the maple leaf and star, representing national pride and space exploration. The vertical design conveys flight, elevation and the constant drive to push boundaries. The logo’s trio of stars forms a stable triangle, symbolizing the agency’s rigorous work and expertise in the field.

This visual transformation aimed to achieve three strategic objectives: increase visibility, democratize space activities within society, and position the CSA as a key international player. Rooted in clean mid-century Canadian design, the new identity exudes solidity, dynamism and a promising future for Canada’s space program – and will look great on uniforms and equipment (like Canadarm3).
