"The Horse"
No Fixed Address
The Canadian Centre for Child Protection and No Fixed Address worked to draw attention to the increasing threat that child predators pose with “The Horse.” Recognizing that 71% of children have phones by age 12, the campaign aimed to highlight the device’s role in facilitating predator access. The PSA depicts a slow, unsettling journey through a family home at night, narrated
with the story of the Trojan Horse.

By juxtaposing the mythic tale with a familiar setting, the campaign emphasizes the insidious nature of the problem, and urges collective action from families and society at large. The tension builds as viewers can feel a threat approaching, only for the danger to finally manifest with a buzzing phone on a child’s nightstand. Through this powerful narrative and imagery, the PSA strikes a remarkable and memorable tone, highlighting the urgency when it comes to protecting children in the digital age.
