Amid the pandemic, No Frills dropped a full-length album all about shopping at No Frills and put it on Spotify.
“Haulin’ State of Mind” not only captured a mindset, but also acted as a flyer disguised as a Top 40 album. From “A Cart Apart” to “Bananas,” the thirty-six minute soundtrack was written and scored to be as long as the average grocery shop. And to ensure authenticity, the music was performed by recognizable Canadian artists.
Since launch, the album has been digitally downloaded more than 272,000 times and was also turned into a limited-edition vinyl.
