In order to save The Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC), which has championed creativity for 72 years, from the pandemic, it had one month
to raise $75,000.

The challenge was to get donations fowing and the entire industry onboard. The idea of a 24-hour webathon, which would become an “ADCC All-Nighter,” was proposed
by Zulu Alpha Kilo.

The campaign involved an online fundraising webathon inspired by the nostalgia of old-fashioned TV telethons of yesteryear and a social campaign that drove awareness to the event itself. Nostalgic social posts highlighted winning ads and designs and iconic Canadian spots were dubbed with a plea to save the ADCC. Creating 24 hours of content was not easy. But the webathon raised over $75,000, ultimately
saving the organization.
