"Celebrate the COVID Way"

Chinese newspaper Ming Pao Daily celebrated its 27th anniversary in October 2020. To mark the occasion COVID-style, Captus Advertising put out a congratulatory ad called “Celebrate the COVID Way” that dramatized one of the most important facets of the pandemic: physical distancing. A more than two-feet-wide, centre-spread print ad of a champagne bottle with an unusually long neck spanned the gutter of the newspaper, alongside copy that acknowledged the need to celebrate at a distance this year.
