CASE SUMMARY

Théâtre Périscope is an avant-garde venue for projects that have something to say. But since the actors and the plays aren’t necessarily widely known, the Périscope has to find creative ways to promote its programming. For its 34th season, the venue created a single brightly coloured visual signature. The lively colour scheme and geometric shapes by lg2 unify the variety of work that’s shown in what has become a cultural hub of Quebec City. The branding, which was brought to life in brochures and print ads, united 11 plays that have nothing in common, except the artistic heading. It promoted each of the different individual works and the actual venue itself, all at the same time.
