CASE SUMMARY
Building on Farnham Ale & Lager’s award-winning platform, Lg2 created four new print ads that bring the microbrewery’s “bitter” personality back to the fore. The bottom half of each ad shows a pint of Farnham on a background matching the beer’s deep-brown colour. The top half captures different situations that are sure to leave anyone feeling a bit salty: a car buried under a mountain of snow; a white sofa clawed to death by the family cat; the words “OK boomer” tagged on a red-brick facade. In each ad, the white object at the centre of the action (snow, sofa and graffiti) stands on top of the pint, representing the beer’s foamy bubbles, and helping to bridge the two worlds.Credits
