At TD, getting a pre-approved mortgage is as quick and painless as filling out a form online. So to get experienced South Asian homebuyers interested in applying for another mortgage with TD, the bank took to Facebook and reinvented the social scroll. In one post, a South Asian cushion, sitting on a couch in a mid-sized home, falls and tumbles through comments below, before landing on another couch in a second post below — this time a bigger couch, in a bigger home. Unlike often-ignored newsfeed ads, the “Drop Into Your Next Home” ad mimicked Facebook’s own user interface to stop people mid-scroll. In doing so, it demonstrated how quick and painless the application process can be at TD.Credits
