The telco market is very competitive when trying to reach new Canadians. So to connect with young Chinese newcomers prioritizing value over flair, Koodo Mobile showed that when you “pay a small price,” you can “get something big.” A woman in a restaurant, for example, gets an extra-, extra-large bubble tea, but for the price of a regular-sized drink. The ad then ends with a call-to-action to find Chinese services on Koodo’s website.
