Casey House wanted to combat misconceptions about HIV in a very tangible way. Its pop-up spa provided a space for conversations and discussion, and gave free massage treatments from people who were HIV positive. Products on its shelves included oils called “Relax your fear” and “Scent and stigma free.” When the predictable backlash began online, Casey House responded with facts about the disease, taking the haters on one-on-one. The project garnered 368 million impressions.
