Did you know a person typically scrolls through 12 storeys of online content a day? To address problematic internet overuse, the Pause brand targeted 18- to 24-year-olds, with posters that used the graphical language of the online world, from memes to emojis, asking young Canadians to pause. Five weeks after launch, Pause’s brand awareness hit 35%. And 87% of surveyed respondents said the campaign stands out from other PSAs.
