Commuters at busy downtown bus stops may have received some calming targeted mobile ads from Newfoundland and Labrador. To drive visits, the tourism board sent serene sounds of the province that contrasted with busy urban environments. The Newfoundland and Labrador sounds also populated a video spot and a website that let visitors conduct their own compositions (alongside an original score performed by the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra).
