As a brand challenging Canada’s big banks, Koho markets itself as giving more control to its customers. A dystopian short film directed by Fleur Fortune portrays big banks as stealing dreams from average people. Debuting at Toronto Fringe (of which Koho is a sponsor), the 13-minute film was then released online where it garnered 1.3 million completed video views. Koho’s acquisitions increased 200% after its launch at 50% the usual cost per acquisition.
