Fountain Tire gets outspent by the Edmonton Oilers’ other, bigger brand sponsors 60-to-one. To show its dedication to the team, the retailer’s employees donated their bodies to get letters painted on their chests. This became a typeface that fans could use in an app to wish the Oilers luck. And the idea spread with fans of 23 other NHL teams on both sides of the border taking notice, and share of voice jumping 142% year-over-year.
