This bus shelter just displays a door with a peephole. Commuters drawn to the knocking look through to see an abusive partner pounding on the other side. Text that says “You can walk away. Some women can’t” brings the message home with a call to support the Battered Women’s Support Service through its website. Online traffic increased 400% as a result and BWSS’s average donation amount doubled.
