193 Pride flags were set one behind the other across 250 yards of warehouse space – one flag for every country in the UN. While high-speed cameras rolled, a .45 calibre bullet was shot through the flags which, in aggregate, stopped the bullet. The installation served as a symbol for what unity can accomplish in a world where many LGBTQ+ people face violence and persecution. The resulting online video went global with 100 million organic impressions in just two days.
