Playing off the long-running Snickers insight that people aren’t themselves when they’re hungry, Mars Wrigley sent bars to those who doubted the Toronto Raptors during their franchise-best season. Grumpy haters had to literally eat their social media-published words when personalized packs of Snickers arrived, spelling out hater Tweets like “Falling apart fast” or “Doesn’t have what it takes.” It rallied support for the Raps’ playoff effort and earned 3.9 million impressions in a week (at a CPM of $7.69).
