You need a bit of luck to win the lottery. So to help ticket buyers in this department, Quebec’s Lotto 6/49 gave them shooting stars to make their wish come true. Sending a film crew to the remote Mont Mégantic, the brand live-streamed a meteor shower on Facebook, inviting audiences to make a wish each time a shooting star blitzed across the screen. A handy “Buy a ticket” button at the bottom redirected viewers feeling lucky enough to play the lottery. Overall, one in 10 Quebecers watched or saw the live stream over the three-hour shower.
