GoldDesign - Logo/Corporate Identity
Amid new sensitivities around people with disabilities, the name Handicap International for a refugee-focused NGO seemed inappropriate. Based on insight that stakeholders commonly refer to the organization as “HI,” the company rebranded itself to be Humanity & Inclusion. The new logo, a human hand integrating the NGO’s acronym, was designed to cross languages and to evoke the number of ways people communicate with their hands – from offering a helping hand to saying “stop.”
