For Father’s Day SickKids Foundation wanted to help support the “night shift,” the working fathers who have to make it through the day while their kids are being treated in hospital. We follow a young man working construction, as he moves through his job on a site. A soft, indie version of Guns ‘N’ Roses Sweet Child plays in the background as he just holds himself together. At the end of his gruelling day, he drives into Toronto to spend the evening with his baby girl, while her mom heads off, presumably for her own night shift.
