Ahead of Mother’s Day, SickKids rolled out a commercial focused on the unsung mom heroes that surround the children’s hospital. The ad starts with a mother silently crying; a second sitting alone in an empty kid’s bedroom; a third staring at pill bottles. The music builds to a crescendo among shots of mothers praying, struggling with tubes and screaming in their cars, before the music pauses. At that point, each mom picks herself up, pulls herself together, and moves forward to support her child.
