Stop-motion animation is a staple of holiday advertising fare. So, to get in the spirit, the Dairy Farmers of Canada created their own felt-based stop-motion puppets. The one-minute video tells the story of Santa visiting kids on Christmas Eve. But he’s not drinking the milk they put out (the only item that isn’t made of felt), rather he’s loading it up onto his sleigh. By the end of the evening, instead of a gift-free sleigh you’d expect to see, Santa’s reindeer-powered transport is weighed down by all the milk he’s storing. It all becomes clear when he gets back to the North Pole and shares the milk with all his helper elves.
