What’s more Canadian than the idea of diversity and a flannel shirt? To launch UNIQLO’s latest clothing store, the retailer opened a near-empty pop-up shop. People who walked in were handed a flannel shirt and given a choice: they could keep the shirt for themselves, or hang it on a wall for a new immigrant to pick up.
