FGL Sports wanted to reward Montreal commuters for taking the stairs in one of the city’s deepest subway stations. With a billboard that contained a thermal-heat sensor placed atop the steepest metro steps, the installation measured a person’s body heat after braving the lengthy staircase, rewarding them with a discount that matched their exertion levels. Essentially, the sweatier people got, the bigger the discount.
