Hotels.com knows Canadians hate winter. To reward them for their patience (and vulgarity) during the frigid season, the brand created a “Winter Swear Jar” – an algorithm tied to social media that dropped a virtual quarter in a jar every time someone swore about winter online. Whenever the jar hit “$1,000,” the brand raffled off a trip somewhere toasty.
