The Alzheimer Society of Canada partnered with popular shows in Canada (Entertainment Tonight and That’s Hockey) and asked each of the hosts to purposely “slip up” their words (calling a hockey puck a ball, or the month of January a day). The hosts then drew attention to the slip-up, adding that small, misspoken words can sometimes be early warning signs of Alzheimers, and directing viewers online for more information about the disease.
