CASE SUMMARY

For its Chinese New Year celebration in 2019 – the Year of the Pig – Koodo Mobile created a cheeky integrated campaign, which included print ads, posters, online display ads, video and cinema ads that offered a “sweet head” (which means “sweet deal” in Chinese culture) for customers if they purchased a $48 monthly plan. The brand promoted the deal using a dessert shaped like a hog and welcomed new customers to its select Koodo Chinese stores where a “sweet head” waited for them.
