CASE SUMMARY

People trust doctors with their health, dentists with their teeth, and lawyers with their freedom. But when it comes to their hardearned money, they don’t always trust experts with their taxes. Knowing this, Sid Lee created a campaign that shows the perils of using friends and family to prepare taxes. In the first spot, “Co-Worker,” it becomes clear that providing salary information to the jealous guy at work is never a smart move. In “Ex-Wife,” a middle-aged man quickly comes to regret having his ex prepare his taxes for him.
