The world isn’t always a safe place for members of the LGBTQ community. To help highlight some of the inequality that exists around the globe, PFLAG Canada created a digital platform that measured the safety of different locations. Essentially, visitors can search countries and cities, and plot how safe those areas are, based on laws, rights and social sentiment. Each country was designated a score, with the Pride flag being used to create a dynamic snapshot of the destination. The site was supported with Facebook ads, while animated videos featured audio interviews with people sharing their travel experiences in various countries.
