Parents have up to 10 days to decide what to do with their pregnancy when their unborn child is diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Many will have questions, and many will turn to Google for answers. To help people make an informed decision, eliminate stereotypes and promote the idea that people with Down Syndrome can lead happy, healthy lives, the Canadian Down Syndrome Society rolled out 40 short videos that answer the top Googled questions related to the syndrome. Each video features a person with Down Syndrome giving their own answers – such as yes, it is possible for them to ride bikes, and no, they aren’t bigger than the average baby.
