To call out the perpetual rape-culture myth that what women wear incites their attackers, the YMCA created a clothing line, Blamé, with items “inspired” by the language people often use to describe victims, such as the “Slut Dress” or the “Asking for it low-cut top.” A pop-up shop featured the clothes, but instead of prices, the tags told the stories of the women who inspired the garments.
