While most brands used simple rooster imagery for Lunar New Year, Air Canada opted for a different approach. Rather than just incorporating the flightless bird into its marketing, the air carrier used the Chinese and Korean words for “fly,” adorning them with colourful rooster feathers. The campaign ran in print, online and social sites geared at Chinese and Korean audiences, as well as on Korean TV.
