To help its target of Chinese Canadian women get over their bias against American beauty
products (which have historically not served their skin well), Elizabeth Arden launched an unbranded website called The Beauty Channel. The platform’s goal was to become the go-to site for Chinese Canadians’ beauty questions and reviews by offering unbiased information about Elizabeth Arden and other popular brands among the target.
